"tunes"day: 'today'

this past weekend i saw joshua radin in concert for the third time. it's no secret i'm a huge fan. with lyrics like "you are the one i've been waiting for today" and "and i thank god you came along" how can you not love this song? it's a tune that comes from the heart, gets you deep down, but doesn't overdo it on sweetness.

it's a widely-selected wedding song as a result. ellen + portia were lucky enough to have joshua perform it live at their wedding a few years back. below is a video of him serenading them on ellen's show. you can download my fave version of the song (from his album 'we were here') on itunes, where you can also download a slightly stripped-down version too (from 'first between 3rd and 4th').
